"Je vois la vie en rouge.."

As a french little girl, I have been warned about thousands of things. "Beware of cars when crossing the street", "Do not talk to strangers", "Do not walk home alone" -because being a girl makes me very fragile you know, I cannot defend myself-, and others I won't tell.

But never ever in my life have weapons been a threat. 

Weapons were in movies, sometimes, hanging from a cop's belt and on battlefields.

But I never thought they would, one day, land in our streets.

Never I have thought, our streets could be the battlefield.
